When should I place my order?
I recommend placing your order for custom invitations 4 to 6 months before you would like to send your invitations to your guests, or 2 months before you need your on the day items. This will allow time for your design consultation, printing and delivery.
Ordering Process
-
Initial Consultation
After you submit an inquiry, I will be in touch with you via email to collect the details for your event.
Once I understand your vision, I will design your stationery and send a presentation to you for review.
-
Changes and Approval
Once you receive your presentation, you can ask for any changes to colors and wording to be made.
I will then create a new presentation each time for you to review.
-
Production
Once you have approved the design for production, I will send your order to be printed.
This process takes around 3 weeks, but will depend on your print method and any accessories ordered.
-
Delivery
With your stationery printed, I will check and pack your order, and organize delivery to you.
Once you receive your order, celebrate and send them off to your calligrapher or guests!

How much do wedding invitations cost?
Custom invitations will likely cost more than anything you purchase online from a major wedding invitation sites, but the experience and product will be very different. The average cost of truly custom wedding invitations will be approximately 5% of your total wedding budget. I recommend budgeting somewhere between $15-$25 per set for custom wedding invitations.
How many extra invitations should I order?
I recommend padding your set quantity by 15%. Guest lists frequently grow after the invitations are ordered and you will want to keep a few copies for yourself!
How do I tell my guests this is an adult-only event?
The most traditional way to tell guests your event is adult-only is to list it at the bottom of your invitation. If you prefer a non-traditional approach, there are many ways we can include this.
How do I tell my guests about our registry?
Proper etiquette states that you should not include any registry information in with your invitation suite. You can list it on your wedding website or shower invitations and/or let your guests know by word of mouth.
